Portraits
All portraits are done at a location of your choosing. There is a 2 hour time limit for portraits, and we can utilize several different locations during that time frame. There is no limit to how many people can be included in portrait sessions.
Portraits are a great way to introduce the world to a new baby. Many couples now choose to do engagement portraits that can be used for "save-the-dates" or announcements in the paper. Maternity portraits are a great way to celebrate your pregnancy. Family portraits make great Holiday Cards and can be taken any time of year. Portrait photography is not limited to people. Pet portraits are great ways to cherish your best friend for life.
Events
For weddings I arrive early in the day to capture the "getting ready" moments. Formal portraits can be taken before or after the ceremony. My goal during the ceremony is to remain as unobtrusive as possible while photographing every moment. During the reception I focus on the bride and groom, close family and friends, however I aim to include at least one photography of each guest. Most of the photographs will be candid, but posed photos are also included.
Most of the events I shoot are Weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. However, Anniversary parties and Christenings are also once in a lifetime events that are good times to hire a professional photographer. Events are good opportunities to get group portraits where everyone in the family is present and looking their best.
Mitzvahs can be an all day event if the Temple Service and party are on the same day. We can create a special package to include portraits at the service and photography later at the party. If they occur on different days we can plan for two separate days of photography.
Event packages are al carte, and can be tailored to fit every budget and circumstance. I am available for travel. Only events held outside of the tri-state area will include a travel fee.
